In January 2020, the UBC and Faculty Association negotiating teams agreed on a new contract for the period from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2022. A membership information sheet was published (available on our negotiating blog) and the collective agreement was ratified by both parties in February 2020. A compendium of the agreement has also been published. (C) The Committee will meet and do everything in its power to reach mutual agreement on this issue before it. (A) Full-time and full-time regular workers who are employed on or enter the staff on April 1, 2019 or who join the staff after that date become members of the employment plan from the first day of the calendar month following the registration date. The employer does not reimburse CMPA`s costs. However, the partial payment of CMPA fees may be made available to residents during the 2018/2019 academic year, below the total expenses for the availability of appeals, as ordered by RDBC. The new collective agreement (CA) came into force earlier this year and was published on our website. In June of this year, we updated the agreement`s adherence and published a compendium explaining the changes agreed at the negotiating table. The compendium is available on this link. (E) These agreements are confirmed in letters of understanding between the parties. The employees of Point Grey Campus as trades, food and hospitality services, technicians and research assistants, as well as in various positions covered by schedule A. CUPE 116`s CUPE 116 agreement, also represents aquatic Centre staff under a separate collective agreement.

Its terms are negotiated between the university administration and the faculty association and are in effect until a new agreement is ratified. It regulates a lot of the conditions of your work at UBC. 1. When a worker enrolled in this plan is totally disabled as a result of an accident or illness on April 1, 2019 or after April 1, 2019, the worker, after being totally disabled for five (5) months, receives a 70% benefit (70%) us $4.028 of the monthly salary before disability and 50% (50%) monthly pre-acquisition earnings above USD 4,028 or 66-2/3% of monthly salary before a disability, plus monthly salary is greater than USD 4,028 or 66-2/3% of monthly salary before a disability.
