You cannot take a break from paying your contract if you will be away from your room for a short period of time. If you feel that you do not need your accommodation for a significant portion of the term of the contract, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to see if you are able to agree on a shorter period of time before accepting your contract. We will generally not be able to change a contract after you have entered into it. For many students, this is the first time they have already signed a hosting contract or contract of any kind, so navigation under the terms of the student residency agreement may be an unknown area.
The residence is a place that promotes a safe and peaceful environment, which supports the academic success of the students as well as their personal and social development. Our goal is to ensure that it is inclusive, responsible and respectful. Your in-room contract is a legally binding contract with the university to take up residence until a certain time, which is why you are expected to pay for your accommodation until the end of your contract. There is no parking at Loddon House or Regis Park Road for students except for drop-offs and pick-ups.
